At West Broward's NHS chapter, we are all about community service. Therefore, we participate in numerous service projects in and out of school! For more information on each individual project, check the list below.
Our Winter Clothing Drive has officially started! Please bring in all your clothing donations to Room 503 before school, after school, or during lunch. End date is December 16th. 1 Publix Bag is 1 hour.
This year, NHS will be partnering with CBC to help bridge the gap between community and families with children suffering from cancer. We will be participating in several events alongside them throughout the year. For more information, visit their website at http://www.childrenbattlingcancer.com.
Becca's Closet is an organization formed in memory of Rebecca Kirtman. They deliver prom dresses, tuxedos, and general formal attire for high schoolers who would not be able to attend otherwise. Every Tuesday and Thursday, NHS will have tutoring sessions available in the media center. Come to tutor and be tutored! 2:40—3:40 p.m.
Note: NHS members, bring your hour logs. A teacher will be available to sign off.
