Due to the nature of the club, certain standards must be kept from all applicants. Below lists the requirements for joining NHS as well as how to remain a member.
To join, you must...- Be in Grade 10 or up (Freshman are not eligible).
- Have a 3.0 un-weighted GPA (from second-quarter grades of 10th grade year).
- Have at least 30 hours of community service documented in Virtual Counselor.
- Have two (appointed) leadership roles. At least one must be from West Broward High School.
- A 3.0 un-weighted GPA
- Two (appointed) leadership roles. Again, at least one must be from West Broward High School.
- 30 hours of community service per semester (1/2 year); at least 15 must be dedicated to NHS Projects. Hours count from February '09 to February '10.
